GO Gym’s most popular class. Spin is an indoor cycling class that takes place in our Spin Studio with various disco lights and music settings to help create a fun and energised calorie burning class. Classes range from 30 minutes for beginner spin, 45 minutes for intermediates and 1 hour for the extremists!
treadmill runner
A 30 minute interval training class completed on treadmills. By alternating between running a few minutes at a moderate pace and throwing in bursts at a quicker pace (or even sprinting), you’ll burn more calories, build endurance and become a faster, stronger runner. Not to mention intervals have also been proven to fight belly fat! GO Run Fit!
kettle bell training
This toning and core class takes place in studio 2. With kettlebells we perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. An amazing way to tone your body and to radically improve fitness levels and drop blood pressure. It’s the ultimate body toning and fat burning class!

step and tone class
Aerobics based class takes place in studio 2. For those who like to do aerobics and not just weights. This will really get you sweating and will also target your bum & abs too.
Stretch and roll class
Stretching and foam roller class, studio 2. We train our bodies all week but do we look after them as well as we should? Imagine having a car you never serviced, it would eventually break down. This class was designed to get rid of any stiffness, soreness in muscles and also to improve flexibility, muscle strength and function. If you’re serious about your training you need this class….it will radically improve performance.
 fitball tone class
A great and fun class to improve muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. This class helps develop stability and balance and is great for strengthening core. Activities include movements to help improve cardiorespiratory benefits and improve body composition.
cardio kickbox class
Not only is cardio kickboxing fun, it burns calories at a very rapid pace. So whether you are a fighter or just trying to lose some extra weight this is a great cardio class to try!
bums and tums class

A body weight exercise class targeting gluts, hamstrings, quads, adductors and abductors, followed by abdominal exercises to help strengthen core and tone the tummy!

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music and dance themes. Very exciting, very motivational and very effective class for weight loss and toning….You will have a lot of fun with this one!

Go Spartan is an exciting functional training-style class which takes part on the gym floor using a number of different weight machines that helps tone muscle as well as burning off calories with it’s intensity.

Go Lift is a muscle toning class which takes place in the studio, it involves numerous exercises with dumb-bells, kettlebells and along with your own body weight to help achieve the perfect body.

In this class you will torch calories not burn them! A fun and challenging class that will boost your metabolism and spike your heart rate. This class incorporates a number of different exercises from free weights to body weights.
tabata classes at go gym
A type of high-intensity interval training with short recovery periods. 20 seconds work followed by 10 seconds rest for four minutes. This is a great workout completed in sync with fun Tabata music! We’ve combined this with TRX, a form of strength training that utilises your own body weight, combining the two you have a fast, effective full-body workout. The cool down period is usually 10 minutes.

Fusion classes are hugely popular because they make the most of your time at the gym. They combine at least two different disciplines, i.e. boxing and strength training. The fresh mix-ups not only challenge your muscles in new ways, ramping up your calorie burn, but also keep you motivated by spicing up been-there-done-that routines.

This 30 minute class combines a cardio cycling workout and strength training for your core. It is HIGH-intensity cycling combined with fast paced free weights exercises to increase your heart rate to its maximum potential.

Get low, get low, get low! It does exactly what it says on the tin, a 45 minute high energy spin class to some new and old Hip Hop jams. This class is a weekly favourite and will get you fired up and ready for the weekend.

Taught by our pro Ivan, Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on shins is known as “the art of eight limbs” because it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient.

Circuit training was designed to perform a set amount of exercises in a row (circuit) without any rest in between each set of the exercise.In this abdominal circuit routine, the main focus is to build and tone up the ab muscles and midsection.

It’s not to often you get to walk into a gym and everything you possibly need is there but at go gym this is the case. The only down side to that is there is no excuse for not getting the work done!! I cant take a rest day, i just have to come down and spend time here. The atmosphere is great, the staff couldn’t be more helpful if they tried
